This latest track from UK garage masters Earthnut is full of huge, bassy kick drums and a delicate, filtered snare that pieces though every bar. Heavily-treated vocals give the piece its unique character, with their low pitch and chopped rhythms providing the melody to ‘Sippin'’. The jazzy keyboards that underpin the whole track create a genre fusion that secures Earthnut as one of the finest examples of experimental garage on the scene at the moment, and if the reaction to latest EP, Skippi & Move Around is anything to go by, they’re only getting stronger. -Dan Peeke
